Although large varicose veins  that are visible on the skin and thicker than 4 mm can be treated with foam sclerotherapy, Ambulatory Phlebectomy method should be preferred because the process of disappearance of the vessel closed after the injection of the drug with sclerotherapy may be long and painful. The veins to be removed are first marked (mapping). Then, under local anesthesia, the large spaghetti looking vein is removed through 1mm large incisions with the help of a hook. Due to the small size of the incision and the fact that it does not require stitches, cosmetic healing is very good and fast. After the treatment, normal daily life is returned immediately.
